To Our Valued Customers,
On Monday, March 23 Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker issued an emergency order requiring all businesses and organizations that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” to close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers and the public as of Tuesday, March 24th at noon until Tuesday, April 7th at noon. The state issued a list of designated businesses that provide essential services related to COVID-19.
Applied Plastics LLC is a supplier of components to medical device manufacturers and is considered a manufacturer necessary to the supply chain of medical devices and equipment. As a result, Applied Plastics is exempt from this order and will continue to operate at full production to service and support our customers with their ongoing healthcare operations.
The health and safety of our employees remains a top priority and we are complying with all local, state and government requirements for social distancing. As the number of cases continues to escalate, Applied Plastics is taking additional preventive measures including staggering of staffing schedules, increasing cleaning frequency, restricting meetings and emphasizing good practices of handwashing and sanitizing to stop the potential spread of the disease within our facilities.
Given the fluidity of this situation Applied Plastics will do everything possible to mitigate shipping delays understanding our critical role in the medical device supply chain.
We remain committed to providing the best quality and service possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the team or our sales partners with questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Tom Barrett
